In 2016, this idea inspired award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and Marvel star Chris Pratt. In the chamber play-like love story with science fiction visions, the two of them have to fight for survival in space in this film.

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in space quarantine
Thousands of people are to be transported in cold sleep in a spaceship to a colony on a distant planet on a 120-year journey. However, Jim and Aurora are awakened 90 years too early by a malfunction. The two of them can’t stand each other at first, but slowly become closer due to their shared fate. When danger threatens, they are the only hope for the still sleeping passengers.
Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence (“Silver Linings”) impresses in “Passengers” alongside her colleague and “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Chris Pratt. Also starring are Michael Sheen (“Good Omens”) and Laurence Fishburne (“John Wick”). The Norwegian Morten Tyldum directed the film.

Morten Tyldum is an award-winning Norwegian director who made a name for himself in 2014 with the biography “The Imitation Game”. The film won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay and Tyldum was nominated for Best Director and Best Film.
