March 31 (Reuters) – The Tokyo Stock Exchange ended lower on Thursday as the final session of Japan’s fiscal year was marked by profit taking.
The Nikkei lost 0.73% to 27,821.43 points and the broader Topix fell 1.08% to 1,946.40.
Over the whole of the first quarter of 2022, the Nikkei fell 3.3%, its worst quarterly performance since January-March 2020.
