June 16 (Reuters) – The Tokyo Stock Exchange ended higher on Thursday, in the wake of Wall Street, after the U.S. Federal Reserve raised its interest rate by 75 basis points to contain inflation in the United States .
The Nikkei index gained 0.40% to 26,431.20 points and the broader Topix gained 0.65% to 1,867.98 points.
