Aug 17 (Reuters) – The Tokyo Stock Exchange ended higher on Wednesday, as Wall Street rallied overnight after strong results from U.S. retailers.
The Nikkei index gained 1.23% to 29,222.77 points and the broader Topix gained 1.22% to 2,006.09 points.
