Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have been married for 13 years. On their wedding day, he made her a touching declaration of love.
Tom Brady (44) and Gisele Bundchen (41) have been married since February 26, 2009. 13 years later, the former American football player made a touching declaration of love for the model. On Instagram he wrote for a romantic wedding photo of the two: “13 years ago we said yes to each other … and you are the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life.”
He continued, “I love you now more than I ever could have imagined. You are the best mother, wife and supporter in the world and I am blessed to call you my wife.” In Portuguese, his Brazilian wife’s first language, he added: “I love you so much, sweetheart.” At the end he wished her “happy wedding anniversary” in English.
Gisele Bundchen posted the same photo of the two. Her declaration of love was a little shorter, but no less touching. “Happy wedding anniversary, love of my life,” she wrote in English. In Portuguese, she added: “I love you.”
Two children together crown their happiness in love
After Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen got married in February 2009, their first child together was born in December: son Benjamin (12). Three years later, the two became parents to their daughter Vivian (9). Tom Brady has a son, John, 14, from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, 50.
Tom Brady only announced the end of his career at the beginning of February. He is considered the most successful American football player in the history of the sport. He secured six of his seven Super Bowl victories with the New England Patriots. He triumphed again in 2021 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
