Tom Brady is producing and starring in a film about four friends who take a road trip to the Super Bowl.

Tom Brady (44) goes Hollywood: As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Brady is producing a road trip film in which he himself appears. The film tells the story of four best friends who take a life-changing journey to the Super Bowl in 2017 to see their hero, Tom Brady.

Female Hollywood celebrities united

The cast of the leading actresses is a particular highlight: the friends are played by Lily Tomlin (82), Jane Fonda (84), Rita Moreno (90) and Sally Field (75). The title of the film is “80 for Brady”.

Kyle Marvin (33), who also wrote the screenplay together with Michael Covino, is to direct it. This is based on a design by Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins (42), who have already written the coming-of-age film “Booksmart”.

The story is supposed to be based on a true story. Brady is said to have been involved in the project from the start. Filming is slated to begin this spring.

Not Brady’s first appearance

Seven-time Super Bowl winner Brady will play himself in 80 for Brady. It’s not his first time in front of the camera – he has already guest-starred in ‘Ted 2’ and ‘Entourage’. Just a few weeks ago, on February 1, 2022, Brady announced that he was retiring from the NFL after 22 years.
