Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen seem to have been on good terms since their divorce. They are still spending this year’s Christmas separately – and the football star is celebrating alone in the hotel.
At the end of October 2022, Tom Brady, 45, and Gisele Bundchen, 42, announced their separation after 13 years of marriage, and shortly thereafter the end of their marriage was already final. “We are blessed with wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents,” the football player wrote in his statement at the time. The two seem to do that too: at the end of November they celebrated Thanksgiving with their children Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10, as a family. Christmas, on the other hand, will be different, as the quarterback now reveals.

On his podcast “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray,” Tom Brady explains that he and his team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will face the Arizona Cardinals on December 25 in Phoenix. Therefore, a celebration with his ex-wife and the kids is not possible. A fact that takes getting used to. “I’m going to have to learn how to spend Christmas Eve in a hotel,” he says, adding, “And I’m going to have to learn how to celebrate Christmas on the one hand and still go out there and be a professional on the other.”
Not unusual words from the football star, after all, shortly after the divorce, he emphasized in the podcast that despite the personal challenges, he gave “everything for the team”. “It’s going to be a new experience that I’ve never had before and I’m going to learn to deal with it… I think that’s what life is about,” he muses now.

He still gets to see his children
However, he does not have to do without his kids completely during the holidays. On December 26, he will be spending time with Benjamin, Vivian and his son Jack, 15, who is from his relationship with Bridget Moynahan, 51. “I’m looking forward to celebrating Christmas with my kids the day after,” Brady said.
