Tom Brady has ruled out retiring again: otherwise his parents and children would “kill” him.

Football star Tom Brady (46) does not want to return to the NFL again. And that probably has everything to do with his family.

“I’m not coming back from retirement”

During a new episode of his SiriusXM podcast “Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray” The former quarterback joked that his family would “kill” him if he tried to return to football a second time. Brady and his co-host Gray chatted with YouTube star Mr. Beast (25) in the latest edition. He jokingly suggested that ratings for the episode would “take off” if the Super Bowl champion faked a second comeback.

Brady laughed it off and called the suggestion “smart.” But then he vehemently asserted: “I’m not coming back from retirement.” He couldn’t even afford to joke about it. “My parents would call, my kids would call. They would kill me. I wouldn’t be there tonight.”

He has already dared to resign once

In February 2022, Brady announced his departure from professional sports – only to reverse the decision a month later. In February 2023 he declared that he would finally give up his active career. Now the former NFL star explained: “Like I said, you’re only allowed one non-retirement break. And I used it up.”

Tom Brady has three children. He shares son Benjamin (13) and daughter Vivian (10) with supermodel Gisele Bündchen (43). The couple announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage. Son Jack (16) comes from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan (52).
