With his most recent appearance, Tom Cruise triggered a huge media response. The reason: The actor looks completely different. Many fans and observers are now wondering whether he has had something done.
When Tom Cruise, 59, took his seat in the stands with his son Connor, 26, at a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game against the San Francisco Giants last weekend, the cameras of the photographers in attendance clicked. The actor’s images spread rapidly on the internet and drew a huge echo. The reason: Tom Cruise no longer looks like himself in the pictures.

Overall, the actor’s face looked very bloated, his once distinctive facial features have disappeared. Although the 59-year-old looked happy at his appearance, he also waved into the cameras of the photographers present, and apparently liked to be photographed, but comments from worried fans quickly increased in the aftermath. “Ok, what happened to Tom Cruise? His face looks like in a cartoon,” writes a user on Twitter. Much speculation about the reasons for the changed appearance of the Hollywood star is making the rounds. “He was probably stung by a bee – that can only be an allergic reaction,” speculates one user. Wisdom tooth surgery is also being considered as a possible cause of the puffy face. Some even suspect Tom Cruise sent a doppelganger to a baseball game in his place: “Will spend the rest of the evening and tomorrow thinking about how some run-down guy managed to convince the Giants that he was Tom Cruise.”

Was Tom Cruise at the beauty doc?
Others see a possible reason for the changed appearance of the actor at the beauty doc. “Somebody at the beauty doc has had himself injected too often,” writes one. The verdict of the network community is devastating: “That looks totally distorted.”
In an interview with GALA, a doctor speculates that Tom Cruise has either had to take cortisone recently, that the bloated face is a result of this, but it is also possible that the superstar wanted to plump up the volume in his face with fillers.
Beauty doc, illness or a surgical procedure – Tom Cruise has not yet explained his appearance, but appeared happy and satisfied last weekend. No trace of any discomfort with his appearance.
