“Tom Cruise strikes again”, “phenomenal”: Mission Impossible 7 has everything to be the film of the summer according to the first reviews

Less than a month from its release in French cinemas, “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning” had its world premiere in Rome this Monday, June 22. And the first opinions announce, again, a quality show for the saga.

It’s one of Hollywood’s symbols of Covid, and it’s finally going to come out. Filming when the pandemic hit and shut down the entire industry, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 has never seemed so close to our theaters.

Some lucky people were even able to discover it, in preview, this Monday, June 19 in Rome, where one of the major sequences of the feature film by Christopher McQuarrie, official director of the saga from Rogue Nation, takes place.

In the space of two feature films, the screenwriter and director has set the bar very high. But everything leads to believe that he knew how to accomplish his mission, if we rely on the first opinions published online in the wake of the preview. And this while the expectation around the film, which is scheduled for release with us on July 12, is particularly high.

“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is another hit for the franchise. feeling like you’re really in the thick of the action. The focus on getting things done for real makes a HUGE difference, and you can feel it.”

“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning is phenomenal! Hayley Atwell STEAL every scene she appears in. This is my favorite Mission: Impossible. With an artificial intelligence as the villain, he looks like a caveat. The action made my heart rate soar. The train scene is breathtaking!”

“There’s a car chase scene in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning that brought me so much joy, and reignited my love for summer blockbusters. The craftsmanship of this franchise is second to none. The final sequence in the train is huge too – I found myself leaning back in my seat.”

“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 functions as Christopher McQuarrie’s ambitious examination/meditation of artificial intelligence and the dangerous path we could take with it. (He doesn’t like it) Due to its nature of “first part” (we’ve talked about it a lot lately), it’s not as satisfying as fallout.”

“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning is amazing. Fastest 2.5 hour movie I’ve seen in a long time. One of the best movies of the year, and Tom Cruise struck again. See it on the biggest screen possible. I can’t recommend this movie enough.”

“I had the best of times watching Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – an impeccably directed action film that never ceases to entertain. Each action sequence is long, crazy and intense. The story is vast and sprawling, but I love how it looks both complete and makes you dying to see the sequel.”

Due to its “first-party” nature, it’s not as satisfying as Fallout

“After the madness of the last few movies, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning has a lot going for it, but what I can say by way of on-the-spot advice: it’s the best of recent ‘part 1 of 2’ as it seems independent while preparing for the next half.”

“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is fantastic. Dynamite, with a current story. Great new characters. Great variety in the action, and a final piece of bravery that ranks in the Top 2-3 of the best in the franchise. [Le film] gets dense at times, but its pace and intensity makes up for that.”

“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning is the best movie of the year. Tom Cruise strikes again. Heart-stopping action, high stakes, a thrilling third act that will leave you on the edge of your chair. Tom Cruise is better than ever, Hayley Atwell amazing!”

Your mission, if you accept it, is now to be patient and wait patiently for July 12, the French release date of this new Mission: Impossible, which therefore has everything to be this summer’s blockbuster.

And that’s good, because Tom Cruise recalled his desire to fight to save cinemas (which finds an amusing echo in the plot of this episode).
