A new photo of Draco Malfoy actor Tom Felton with three “Harry Potter” co-stars makes fans sit up and take notice. Are you planning something?

A new photo by Tom Felton (34, “The Flash”) with three of his co-stars from the “Harry Potter” series makes the fans prick up their ears. The reason: the upcoming 20th anniversary of the first blockbuster “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” (2001) on November 22nd. Are the Draco Malfoy cast and friends planning something special?

Draco selfie with the three Weasleys

“In secret, Draco always wanted to be a redhead,” reads next to the snapshot that Felton shared with his followers on Friday (November 5th) on Instagram. It shows the 34-year-old with his former co-stars Rupert Grint (33), Bonnie Wright (30) and James Phelps (35). Wright commented, “Lol. There’s still time!” The post does not say the reason for the photo was taken.

A post by 30-year-old Bonnie Wright proves that the fans’ assumption that there might be a (still) secret surprise behind the mini reunion is not unfounded. The Ginny Weasley actress also invited on Friday Upload a photo of yourself to your Instagram storythat shows her radiant with joy. “I just shot something very exciting that made me feel very emotional,” she wrote. She also added a lightning bolt emoji to her post.

Chris Columbus wants to film “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”

A statement from director Chris Columbus (63), who directed the first two “Harry Potter” films, also caused a stir a few days ago. He would love to adapt “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” as a filmmaker, Columbus said in an interview with “Variety”. “It’s a great play and the kids are even the right ages to play those roles. It’s one of my little fantasies.” The two-part theater production, which premiered in 2016, takes place 19 years after the end of the last book by author JK Rowling (56). A film adaptation is currently not officially planned.

With “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” came 2001 the film adaptation of the first book in Rowling’s children’s book series in the cinemas. Seven sequels followed by 2011. The main role of the eponymous sorcerer’s apprentice played in all eight parts of Daniel Radcliffe (32). In July, the London native said “Entertainment Tonight”that he was not aware of any special plans for an anniversary celebration in honor of the first film. “I don’t know if we’ll meet or something,” explained Radcliffe. “I’m sorry if that disappoints someone a little.”
