Actor Tom Hanks is now back in Australia after his corona infection and subsequent return to the USA.
US actor Tom Hanks (64, "Cast Away") is apparently back in Australia, the site of his Covid 19 disease. As the director Baz Luhrmann (57) confirmed to the magazine "Variety", the Oscar winner will soon continue shooting the upcoming Elvis Presley film Down Under. On September 23, the first flap should fall after the corona-related interruption. According to Luhrmann, Hanks is currently in a mandatory quarantine before work starts.
In addition, Australian media unanimously reported that Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson (63) arrived on the Gold Coast in Queensland on Tuesday evening (September 8) and were immediately escorted by the police to the hotel rented by the production. There were problems at short notice because the hotel was actually not approved as an official quarantine facility. However, these difficulties have been eliminated.
