Tom Hanks: Star sick with Corona released from hospital

Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks (63, "A hologram for the king") and his wife Rita Wilson (63) are apparently on the mend after their corona diagnosis. According to a report by the US website "Page Six", the couple were allowed to leave the Australia hospital where they had been living five days after they made their illness public.

However, they are not yet allowed to go to their US homeland. Instead, Hanks and Wilson are said to have rented a house near the clinic, where they are still in quarantine. A spokesman for the couple had confirmed this to "Page Six".

Hanks and Wilson were in Australia working on a new film. "We felt a little tired, like having a cold," the 63-year-old wrote on Instagram last week about the symptoms. His wife also had chills and a slight fever. They were then tested for the corona virus and the test was positive.
