For Tom Holland, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" could be the end of it. So far, at least he doesn't have a contract for possible sequels.

A six-pack beer or a six in the lottery: These are just two examples that prove that all good things are not three, but six. US actor Tom Holland (24) also seems to see it that way. Because for the "Spider-Man" movie "No Way Home", which is still in the works, the Briton will put on the Spidy costume for the sixth time – and maybe for the last time.

In an interview with the men's magazine "GQ", Holland said: "After this film my contract will expire." So far, he has not been offered a new contract, according to Holland. However: "I keep checking my cell phone and wait for it to ring and for a new contract to be signed."

Further sequels only on one condition

And even if it is sometimes "strange" for him to slip into the role of a 15-year-old schoolboy again and again as a 24-year-old man, Holland would be quite ready to shoot more "Spider-Man" films in the future: " One hundred percent yes! ". Holland only has one condition: "The core team should stay the same."

The shooting of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" started in October 2020 in Atlanta. According to Holland, they are "as good as complete". The US theatrical release is currently targeted for December 17, 2021. Holland made his Spider-Man debut in 2016 in "The First Avenger: Civil War", followed by "Spider-Man: Homecoming" (2017), "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018), Avengers: Endgame "(2019) and" Spider -Man: Far From Home "(2019).
