Singer Tom Jones has placed his late wife’s urn in his bedroom: “I’ll kiss the urn and go to sleep.”

Tom Jones (80, “Over the Top and Back”) feels connected to his great love beyond death. The singer placed the urn of his wife Melinda, who died in 2016, in his bedroom, as he reveals in the “Bunte” interview: “She is now next to my bed, with a beautiful picture of my wife hanging over it. When I wake up, I speak to her . And she’s also the last one I’ll say goodnight to. I’ll kiss the urn and go to sleep. ”

Tom Jones was married to Melinda Rose Woodward for 59 years. As a teenager he met her at school, at 16 the future world star gave his Melinda the word of consent, one month after the wedding son Mark was born. In his autobiography he writes that he did not feel for anyone like he did for Linda. She is the most important person in his life, the rest was a bit of fun and a few gimmicks. He doesn’t think he could ever fall in love like this again. Melinda Woodward died of cancer in Los Angeles in 2016.
