Tommy Lee: If Trump wins, he'll leave for Greece

In the re-election of Donald Trump as US President, Tommy Lee would go to Greece. The musician swear that to God.

The battle for the White House is entering its hot phase. In a little over two weeks it will be decided whether Donald Trump (74) can stay or Joe Biden (77) will move in in his place. If the first case occurs, there will still be a move, according to rock musician Tommy Lee (58, "Andro"). Because then he wants to leave the USA at all costs and move to Greece. "I swear that to God," the Mötley Crüe drummer told The Big Issue magazine.

"Then I'll go back to my home in Greece and get myself a house on one of the islands," said Lee. The star was born in Athens in 1962, but his family moved to California a year later. The 58-year-old is certain that the Americans would become more and more of a laughing stock in the eyes of the Europeans. Even more so, should Trump get a second term. His appeal: "Stop voting for celebrities and find someone competent who can lead the country."

How seriously Tommy Lee really means his exodus from the country is unclear. Even before Donald Trump's first election in 2016, there were numerous celebrities who announced that they would emigrate if the Republican won. But neither Lena Dunham (34) nor Snoop Dogg (48), Samuel L. Jackson (71) or Amy Schumer (39) ultimately implemented their threat. Tommy Lee might have to sound out the housing market in Greece from November 3rd – then the 46th President of the USA will be determined.
