Indeed, in this scene, we find the Delcourt-Bertrand family at home, about to sit down to dinner. Alex (Alexandre Brasseur) announces that he is cooking a delicious dish. For him, this meal is an opportunity to celebrate two pieces of good news: the new life of his daughter Judith (Alice Varela), who is preparing, after the holidays, to return to the United States to support her brother Maxime (Clément Rémiens ) in his restaurant in San Francisco, and the sales success of the family oyster farm during these end-of-year holidays.
Diego (Enzo Rose) points out that they owe the second good news largely to Chloé (Ingrid Chauvin), who worked as a seller at the Christmas market. The mother points out that she doesn’t have much to do with it, compared to the quality of the oysters provided by her husband. The latter wonders if his wife has finally found her way. Judith then spills the beans: her mother has a very clear idea of what she wants to do from now on, and it’s not an oyster farmer or saleswoman.
