The moment that all Tomorrow Belongs to Us fans have been waiting for weeks is fast approaching.
Her name is Audrey Gaby Roussel (Charlotte Gaccio). His name is Damien, Léopold, Adrien Julliard (Adrien Rob). This Friday, May 26, they will say yes for life on TF1. A moment which obviously promises to be rich in emotion and which will undoubtedly be a milestone in the history of the series.
Yet nothing on paper destined Audrey and Damien to live a great love story. If almost everything separated them at their first meeting, fate decided otherwise by transforming this initially short-lived adventure into a relationship worthy of a fairy tale. Enough to make Damien and Audrey an emblematic couple of the daily soap opera of TF1 and place their family among the most popular of the program.
After going through a few storms, overcoming a refused marriage proposal and a short separation, the two characters will finally be entitled to their happy ending!
In a new excerpt available on the MyTF1 platform, Audrey and Damien are reunited at the Delcourt oyster farmhouse. And it is surrounded by their family as well as their friends that they finally unite. Once they have exchanged rings and kissed passionately, Audrey addresses all of her guests.
“On the other side of town, there is a beach. And on this beach, there is a small piece of sand on which I landed two years ago with all my children. I had no job, no money and not even a home for my family.
But I had promised myself to do everything to get out of it and to cope. But above all, I had promised myself that I would never, never, never get married. For me, being in a relationship was a weakness. It was giving too much power to the other. I had to fight a lot in my life. Many cope. I ended up believing that this was living” she said then.
Audrey then turns to her husband and adds a look full of love: “And then you arrived. Thanks to you, I learned to let my guard down and trust again. That’s why today I’m here in front of you with this beautiful dress. I understood that love wasn’t a weakness. It could even be an incredible strength. And I want to live that with you every day..”.
Touched by these words, Damien whispers “my wife“before kissing her tenderly to the applause of their guests.
