Tomorrow belongs to us: Ingrid Chauvin gives news of Clément Rémiens (Maxime) a few months after his departure

On the occasion of the first fan convention “Tomorrow belongs to us”, which took place last weekend in Paris, Ingrid Chauvin and Alexandre Brasseur returned to the departure of Clément Rémiens (Maxime). And gave her news.

On Saturday July 2, a large part of the cast of Tomorrow belongs to us was gathered at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie de la Villette, in Paris, as part of the first fan convention dedicated to the daily soap opera of TF1. The opportunity to return to the highlights of the series since its launch on July 17, 2017. And to discuss, among other things, the departure of Clément Rémiens, alias Maxime Delcourt.

After saying goodbye on January 27 to Here it all begins, the spin-off of Tomorrow belongs to us, of which he was the star since 2020, Clément Rémiens returned for a very last plot in the parent series. In order to find her fictional parents, Ingrid Chauvin (Chloé) and Alexandre Brasseur (Alex), whose characters were then in turmoil. And to offer a nice end to Maxime in the episode broadcast on February 21 on the front page.

“I decided to quit”explained at the end of last year the main interested party to La Voix du Nord, at the time of the sensational announcement of his departure. “I’m very happy with everything that happened but it’s always rushed, we don’t stop working… and I need to see something else”.

Very discreet since Maxime’s last appearance on the screen, Clément Rémiens seems to have made the decision to take time for him, as Ingrid Chauvin confided on Saturday to the hundreds of fans present at La Villette.

“He is doing very well”revealed the interpreter of Chloé Delcourt, who remains very close to the one who played his son for almost five years. “He takes the opportunity to travel, to live his life as a young man away from the cameras. That’s what makes him extraordinary too: he wants to be ordinary. He needed this little breath”.

“Obviously it did something to “lose” Clément”confided Alexandre Brasseur when Christophe Beaugrand, the host of the convention Tomorrow belongs to us, asked him about the departure of his fictional son.

“But, at the same time, that’s life. Here is a young man in his twenties, who started his career with a daily series, who made a big bridge and easily stepped over it to create a new one, on the same channel, a little earlier. And who then does other things and flies towards his life. It’s quite joyful and positive”.

Moreover, as Christophe Beaugrand pointed out, “Maxime is fine, he is not dead”, since the character left to live his culinary dream in San Francisco, where he took the helm of Michel Sarran’s new restaurant. And a return, one day, therefore remains quite possible according to Ingrid Chauvin, who has already seen many actors from Tomorrow belongs to us return after a more or less long break.

“Nothing is ever final in this series so a departure can be synonymous with a return”. It remains to be seen whether Clément Rémiens will continue his career in front of the cameras. And, if so, if he will want to return one day to where it all began for him.
