Luce Mouchel and Farouk Bermouga, who play Marianne Delcourt and Victor Brunet in “Tomorrow belongs to us”, are currently filming the mini-series “The Best of Us” for France 3 with Nicolas Gob, Mariama Gueye, and Marilyn Lima.
While Anne Caillon has just announced her departure from the series, two other recurring actors from Tomorrow belongs to us are about to make infidelities to the TF1 soap opera while filming a new series for a competing channel.
Luce Mouchel and Farouk Bermouga, who have played Marianne Delcourt and Victor Brunet respectively since 2017 and 2018, are indeed in the cast of the mini-series The Best of Us, intended for France 3 and produced by TS Productions and Quad Drama, whose filming began on February 8 and will continue until April 6 in Paris and the Bonneval region, in Haute Maurienne.
Directed by Floriane Crépin (Meurtres en Berry) and created by Lucie Prost, Aurélia Morali (Pour Sarah), and Isabel Sebastian (Innocente), this series in 4 episodes of 52 minutes plunges us into the world of ski biathlon through the murder of ‘Abel Guérin, a brilliant biathlete admired by all, found dead on the Bessans training launch pad, shot in the head by a rifle bullet.
Awa Sissako, a young captain operating in the neighboring metropolis, is dispatched to Haute Maurienne to support Lieutenant Achille Salvi, of the local gendarmerie, on the case. This murder arouses real amazement, Abel was adored by all. But as the investigation progresses, the picture of the ideal athlete is gradually disintegrating.
A conflictual relationship with her brother, a suffocating mother, a very demanding coach and a couple relationship that is not as idyllic as it looked… Very quickly, Awa understands that Abel’s entourage, in surface very cooperative, hides a lot of things from the investigators. What really happened in the intimacy of the young athlete? Awa only has a few days to find out the truth before the start of the highly publicized World Cup which is to open in Bessans…

According to information from French movieAwa Sissako and Achille Salvi, the two heroes of The Best of Us, will be played by Mariama Gueye (Sophie Cross, Gloria) and Nicolas Gob (The Art of Crime).
The rest of the cast includes Marilyn Lima (Skam France), Benoît Michel (Astrid and Raphaëlle), Bruno Debrandt (Le Voyageur, Caïn), Elisa Erka, Théo Costa Marini (White Zone), Gauthier Battoué (Deutsch-les-Landes) , Loyan Pons de Vier (Too young for me), or even Princess Erika (Camping Paradis).
It is not yet known whether Luce Mouchel and Farouk Bermouga, who hold secondary roles in The Best of Us, will be required to share scenes. Or if the two actors will have to temporarily leave Tomorrow belongs to us for a few weeks for the needs of this new series, like Maud Baecker or Emma Smet before them.
