On Friday January 5 in Tomorrow Belongs to Us (7:10 p.m., TF1), Charlie decides to talk seriously with François and Timothée returns home.

In the January 5 episode of Tomorrow Belongs to Us, the atmosphere is still tense between François and Charlie following the announcement of the latter’s pregnancy. When Adam stumbles upon the positive test, he decides to show it to his father. Although François claims to be happy, Adam can see that he is not super enthusiastic. François explains that he doesn’t want to upset Charlie and that he just has to get used to the idea. But later when the couple dines at Spoon, François announces to Charlie that he doesn’t feel ready to be a father, especially as their move to Canada draws closer. He is then stunned to learn that Charlie lied to him and that she is not pregnant. The latter justifies herself by saying that she wanted to know if he was planning with her, and that she now has her answer. But François replies that he leaves his son, his recently found father and his work for her. Charlie replies that following her should be a choice and not a sacrifice and leaves.

Meanwhile at the police station, Karim tries to reassure Victor panicked at the thought of Langlois harming his son again. The latter is precisely at the port with his captor who, meeting people, becomes paranoid and is convinced that Victor has told the police everything. He continues to point his gun at Timothée, swearing that he will take revenge. At the police station, Sara informs Karim that Langlois must have suspected something because he did not board the cargo ship as planned. Nordine interrupts them to tell them that Langlois robbed a lady to steal her car. They hope to stop it thanks to the roadblocks put in place. Back at the winery, Victor is worried to death and confides in Philippine about the daughter he lost when Timothy walks through the door. His father rushes to him and sees that everything is fine, Timothée is just exhausted.

Bénédicte is targeted by Langlois

The young man is then questioned at the police station. He explains that Langlois blindfolded him and tried to sell stolen jewelry before deciding to abandon it in the middle of nature. Meanwhile on their boat, Etienne, Diego and Bénédicte are patient but Diego feels bad. Later, her father decides to take her to the hospital, leaving Bénédicte alone to rest. When she wakes up, she tries to contact Etienne, without result. She greets the police officer who patrols near the boat without suspecting that a few meters away Alexis Langlois is hiding. Finally at the Spoon, Nathan chats with Lilou who realized that he is not the owner of the place. She explains to him that she doesn’t appreciate lies at all. Despite Bart’s encouraging words, Nathan despairs of ever finding the right shoe for him.
