Tomorrow belongs to us (spoilers): Paul confesses his feelings to Samuel and a couple is close to breaking up

On Tuesday August 2 in Tomorrow belongs to us (7:10 p.m., TF1), the investigators finally have answers concerning Paul Camus and Diane Ferry, but part of the case remains to be elucidated…

In the August 2 episode of Tomorrow Belongs to Us, Paul (Rotem Jackman) is questioned at the police station where he explains that he is transgenderthat Diane Ferry is her deadname – or morinom, the birth name of a person who has changed their first name due to their gender transition – and that Solange was aware of her trans identity. The owner of the stud has indeed discovered Paul sleeping in a box after the latter was rejected by his parents following his coming out. Shortly after, Paul left for Thailand thanks to the money of Renaud (Pierre Deny) to be able to make his transition. He adds, however, thathe did not speak to Renaud about his transition and simply claimed a need to leave and build a new life. In Thailand, Paul ran into a transgender woman who looked like him, so they decided to swap passports. If he did not declare this change in marital status on returning to France, it was because he did not have the strength to go before a judge and have to prove his identity.

If Commander Constant (Franck Monsigny) understands this, he has a harder time understanding why Paul didn’t tell them the truth when he learned they were looking for Diane Ferry. The groom simply explains thathe panicked, especially as he quickly came under suspicion. But he continues to maintain his innocence, citing his DNA on the rifle as proof of the times he used it to ward off boars. Paul then asks to speak to Samuel (Axel Kiener), which the latter comes to do in the hope of extracting from him a confession. When Samuel arrives in Paul’s cell, he immediately uses his deadname – something not to do – before asking him why he didn’t tell him. Paul confesses that he was afraid of his reaction, especially since he always had feelings for Samuel. He was in love with him ten years agobut does not specify whether this is still the case.

Camille and Dorian will they break up?

Later at stud, Victoire (Solène Hébert) and Samuel discuss Paul when Victoire receives a call. It is about Benjamin (Alexandre Varga) who announces to Victoire thatAnne-Marie (Véronique Jannot) is in the hospital, confused after hearing voices. Despite new examinations, nothing explains why Anne-Marie has auditory hallucinations coupled with this persistent feeling that she is being followed. While Victoire is reassuring her, Anne-Marie feels unwell… Meanwhile on the young side, drama is also on the agenda. At the Meffre-Perrauds, the presence of Emma (Luna Lou) upset the program of Dorian (Rayane Huber) and Camille (Elisa Ezzedine) which chain the evenings. When Maud (Sixtine Dutheil) comes home, she discovers a house that’s upside down and sides with Dorian: the girls should calm down.

However, this is not planned since they even intend to organize a party at La Paillotte with Charlie’s agreement (Clemence Lassalas). Once the DJ has been found, they go back to Camille’s for a game of beer-pong, which Maud takes a dim view of. Like Maud, Dorian is jaded to see Emma and Camille just drinking and partying, especially since they had planned a quiet evening. When Dorian speaks to Camille, the latter reminds him that he is only a guest and could be quiet instead of spoiling the atmosphere all the time. Furious, Dorian returns home. Finally Manon (Louvia Bachelier) follows Charlie’s advice and decides to sleep with Valentin even if she still has feelings for Nordine (Youcef Agal). For his part, the latter confesses his own feelings to Roxane (Raphaële Volkoff) who encourages him to act rather than think. He decides to call Manon to ask her to see him, but the young woman is too busy with Valentin, whom she is moreover forced to introduce to her mother when they meet…
