I knew Cedric was going to die, but not exactly how it was going to happen.In full disclosure, the actor said, “I find it good that the character dies rather than simply moving away from Sète. It gives a pretty strong sequence and I’m pretty happy to have been able to play this death. I may have a small regret, it is that he dies in a coma without being able to speak to his relatives.“
Referring to the filming of his final scene, the actor slipped: “There was a lot of emotion, especially the very last scene with Cédric, his heart not reacting to the defibrillator. It was very strange because obviously not being in a coma myself, I felt everything and I had to control myself especially not to react when I felt the emotion rising.
