Since the death of her abusive husband, Romy (Dounia Coesens) has been trying to rebuild a new life in Sète. And to achieve this, the young mother can count on the unfailing support of Victor (Farouk Bermouga).

When Victor tells her about his particular way of eliminating competition in business, Romy reminds her that they are going to be partners. To reassure her, Timothée’s father clarifies that there is no need to worry before promising that he will never embarrass her.

Fully aware of this, Victor indicates that he simply wants to help her. Nevertheless, if he made her this job offer, it is mainly because he knows that she is capable of it. For her part, Romy is apprehensive because she has never worked and even less had responsibilities. Coming from a modest background, she always felt that everything was too big for her.

Asked about this, Farouk Bermouga and Dounia Coesens, the interpreters of Victor and Romy, confided in the columns of the Télé Poche magazine which appeared on newsstands this week.
According to Farouk Bermouga, “When Romy is attacked by Malik, Victor comes to her aid. At that time, it’s not out of love but because he sees a woman in difficulty and he can’t stay idly by. It is only then that he feels disturbed by her. There is a real attraction. This is perhaps the only time Victor has a real crush”.
And if Victor seems determined to give this story a chance, Romy is much more reserved. Given what she experienced with Malik, the young woman will have all the difficulties to give this idyll a chance by discovering Victor’s tortuous past.
For Dounia Cossens, “Romy is undeniably attracted to him but she doesn’t want to mix work and private life so she puts him on hold. And then, she is suspicious all the same. He may be benevolent, but she knows he’s been involved in shady things.“.
