Friday January 28 in Tomorrow belongs to us…
CHLOÉ AND ALEX LOSE CUSTODY OF CELESTE
Suspected of having drugged her daughter, Chloé was summoned to the police station. If the anxiolytics found at the Delcourts belonged to Xavier, on the other hand this does not explain why there were a large quantity of them in Celeste’s antibiotics. Confused, Chloe says she wouldn’t be able to do such a thing. Certain that Andréa is the source of all her ills, the mother of the family goes so far as to accuse her of having mistreated her daughter and of having drugged her to make her sleep. Unfortunately, the only fingerprints found on the medicine bottle belong to Chloe.
Meanwhile, Maxime is back in Sète to the delight of his father. However, the young man quickly loses his smile when he learns that his mother is heard by the police.
For their part, Martin and Karim find it very difficult to believe in Chloé’s guilt, unlike Jérôme Marquis who reminds them that in most cases of abuse, it is often the family that is involved. According to him, Chloe could very well have given painkillers to her daughter in order to be able to rest because she was exhausted. He even goes so far as to imagine that she fired Andréa because he was about to find out what she was doing and that is why she is now trying to blame him. Commander Constant therefore orders Karim and Sara to investigate Andrea.
At the hospital, relations between Flore and Marianne are strained. Indeed, Dr. Delcourt accuses his superior of having made false accusations to the ASE. If Flore maintains that she simply did her job, Marianne warns her that Chloé will sue her for slanderous denunciation once she is cleared. The two women then embark on a veritable verbal battle before Marianne puts an end to the conversation by letting go that it is a pity that her suicide attempt failed because no one would have missed her.
Not far from there, Karim continues his investigation of Andréa. Even if he has a clean record, this one still has a complicated past. Indeed, he never knew his father and his mother died when he was only twelve years old. By searching his past, the policeman manages to get his hands on a photo of Andrea’s mother who looks a lot like Chloe. Anna then wonders if the babysitter would not have idealized the Delcourt family to the point of making an obsession of them.
At the same time, Andréa is heard by the police in the presence of Jérôme Marquis and continues to deny the facts of which he is accused. According to him, he always did his job with heart. He also states that the only medicine he was allowed to give Celeste was paracetamol and that he has a message to prove it.
At the end of the day, Jérôme Marquis goes to the Delcourts. Following his investigation, there is now no doubt for him that Celeste was indeed the victim of abuse. Chloé being the main suspect in this case, he therefore withdraws custody of her daughter until the judicial inquiry is closed. Upset, Chloe begs him not to take her daughter away from her, but without success. Celeste leaves under the helpless gaze of her family.
NOOR HAS A NEW FAVORITE
After careful consideration, Lilian decided not to have the operation. Indeed, he refuses to risk his football career by staying on the sidelines for a year and a half. Lilian therefore chose to do rehabilitation in order to realize her dream as soon as possible. Bénédicte, who takes care of his rehabilitation, noticed that Noor showed great empathy towards his patient. Although she finds it good, she still advises him not to get too involved.
Later, Cédric confides in Noor about his fears regarding the choice of his son. After explaining to her the reasons that pushed Lilian to make this decision, the young woman reminds her that her son has a strong mind and that he must trust her. If he agrees with her, this is however not the opinion of his wife. While laying her hand on his arm, Noor states that it’s brave of him to let his son make his own decisions and support him. Touched, Cédric thanks her for her support and then specifies that it does him a lot of good, especially since it is complicated for him at the moment. For Noor, things will eventually work out with his wife.
At the end of the day, Lilian leaves the hospital. Before leaving, he thanks Noor and invites her for a drink at the end of her shift to get to know her better. The latter does not say no but prefers to postpone their appointment to another evening.
At home, Lilian notices that the relationship between her parents is particularly cold. Besides, it won’t be long before they quarrel over the choice of their son.
For her part, Noor tells Gabriel that she fell for a man and then adds that it is not an affair but something more serious. While Gabriel insists on knowing who it is, the apprentice nurse prefers to keep her identity secret so as not to jinx herself.
VICTOR AND RAPHAËLLE PLAY THE GAME OF CAT AND MOUSE
At the Perraud cabinet, Raphaëlle stained her blouse while drinking her coffee. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have time to go home because she has an appointment with an important client. Immediately, Victor proposes to go and buy her a new blouse, stating that he has done a lot of shopping for his former companions. Seeing that he seems to know something about it, Raphaëlle gives him his credit card. When he comes back, it’s not a blouse that Victor brings to Raphaëlle but a rather sexy top. As her client arrives, the lawyer asks her employee to undress to retrieve his shirt.
