Friday, December 23 in Tomorrow belongs to us…
WILLIAM IS IN THE SIGHT OF THE POLICE
In the morning, Anna goes to the police station to see her mother who was taken into custody the day before. After hearing from him, the young woman tries to find out if it was she who killed Malik. Such an act being contrary to all its principles, Marianne affirms that it is not. However, Doctor Delcourt refuses to tell the police that Malik attempted to rape his daughter. Indeed, Anna’s aggression would be a very good reason to want Malik dead. The police would then finally have a motive and Anna would in turn be suspected of having killed him. However, Anna does not care and does not want her mother to spend Christmas in prison because of her.
Shortly after, Marianne therefore tells Martin and Lisa that she prevented the sexual assault of her daughter in extremis. According to her, this scumbag would have raped her if she hadn’t intervened. If this constitutes a solid motive, Marianne nevertheless swears that she did not kill him. Thanks to these new elements, Marianne will be released during the day.
Having other suspects in their sights, the investigators summon Anna and Karim to the police station. During her interrogation, Anna tells Lisa that what happened at the hospital was not an attempted rape but rather intimidation. Despite everything, Lisa tells him that it remains a sexual assault and then implies that she could very well have killed him in revenge. But Anna certifies that she would never have hurt him.
Karim is meanwhile upset when he learns that his brother sexually assaulted his partner and is terribly angry with himself for having mourned her death. Afterwards, Martin explains that Anna didn’t say anything to him for fear that he would do something stupid. As he was not aware of the attack, Karim is of course removed from the list of suspects.
Meanwhile, Chloe and Alex are busy preparing for Christmas Eve. Only, Chloé does not have the heart to celebrate because Karim and Anna are at the police station. For his part, Alex has a good feeling and thinks that they will be released for the aperitif. And indeed, the police eventually release Anna and Karim in the afternoon to the delight of the Delcourt family. Relieved but above all happy, Chloé offers Anna and Karim to invite Rayane and Romy for New Year’s Eve but the latter have planned to spend Christmas together.
In the evening, Lisa is on call. Having spent the whole day going through the photos of the charity evening, she is sure to have unearthed a new element and has no other choice than to cut short Martin’s evening. Indeed, Lisa found a photo taken at 10:46 p.m. of William Daunier with a glass of whiskey in his hand. However, the only place where you could get this type of alcohol was the music room, the place where Malik was killed…
SÉTOIS CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS
As Adam is spending the holidays with his mother, François has reserved a room in a castle to spend Christmas with Charlie, to the chagrin of the Morenos who find themselves alone. Indeed, Dylan works and Jessica and Betty go to their respective beautiful families.
Disappointed, the couple goes to the Spoon and plans to go to bed early to forget about Christmas. Mona, who hears them talking, then invites them to her evening with Nathan and Georges. Bart having gone skiing, they will have the restaurant just for them.
For his part, Georges wraps his presents at the police station and does not seem really good at this exercise, so much so that he ends up putting the robot mixer in a kraft bag before gluing a ribbon on it.
For their part, the Roussels are preparing to celebrate Christmas in a good mood. Even if the situation is complicated with Audrey, Damien arrives dressed as Santa Claus with a basket full of presents.
And the magic continues for the inhabitants of Sète. Raphaëlle, Sébastien, Camille and Emma spend New Year’s Eve with the family, as do Victor and Timothée or even Martin and Nordine who taste oysters at the Christmas market. The magic of this moment making everything possible, even Martin and Victor greet each other in the distance.
A few steps away, Mona, Georges, Nathan, Sylvain and Christelle wake up at the Spoon. And a big surprise awaits them since François and Charlie end up joining them. It must be said that the French teacher made a mistake in the castle reservations and rented a room for December 2023. Something to delight Sylvain and Christelle.
At the Delcourts, the atmosphere is festive. While everyone is dancing, Jordan comes by surprise to kiss Judith on this special day.
Finally, Aurore went out of her way so that William could see his mother on New Year’s Eve. A beautiful Christmas present but above all a beautiful proof of love that puts a smile on William’s face.
