FRANÇOIS RECEIVES THREATS

Disturbed by the discovery of his son, François brings out his father’s belongings, which he has not touched for twenty years. Lieutenant-Colonel Alain Lehaut was a fighter pilot and left his wife and son to leave with his mistress when François was only 13 years old. When Charlie asks what happened to him, François replies that he doesn’t know because his mother never wanted to talk about it until her death. They even moved to Brittany because she could no longer bear to live in Sète without him. Suffice to say, therefore, that the French teacher does not really carry his father in his heart.

Despite everything, François struggles to understand why his medal was on the beach. That’s why he goes to the police station and tells his story to Captain Jacob in the hope of finding out the truth. Aurore then promises to inquire and tells herself that if Alain deserted when he disappeared, an investigation must have been opened.

Lisa later explains to her colleague that the prosecutor will never agree to open an investigation that dates back more than twenty years. However, Aurore was touched by this story and brings the medal to Damien to have it analyzed.

For his part, François has his mind elsewhere and is struggling to ensure his French course. When Captain Jacob calls him to go to the police station, he immediately goes on the spot, leaving his students. Indeed, Damien analyzed the medal. According to him, the object remained in the sand for more than ten years. As there were traces of blood, he was able to compare them with François’ DNA and the results are clear: there is a 99% chance that it is his father’s blood.

Very moved, the professor imagines that the investigation will be reopened but Aurore informs him that the prosecutor opposes it because in France for a case to be considered as unsolved, there must be formal proof that he is is a homicide. Nevertheless, Aurore explains that she managed to get her hands on the report from the time. Insofar as nothing worrying had been noted, the army had concluded to a voluntary disappearance. Unfortunately, Aurore cannot do anything more.

Back home, François starts looking for a private detective to lead the investigation because he fears that something has happened to his father. As long as he does not know the truth, François will not be at ease. If Charlie and Adam support him in his approach, they have no desire to see him suffer. François then guarantees that it will not happen. Whatever the answer, only the truth will appease him.

During the night, Charlie and François are sleeping peacefully when the French teacher receives a call. When François picks up, no one answers. On the second call, a doctored voice said, ” If you care about your loved ones, don’t stir up the past “.

DAVID DOUMERGUE’S CONDITION OF HEALTH IS DEGRADING

At the hospital, Sara is training to use her wheelchair in the corridors of the establishment when she sees David Doumergue on a stretcher in a life-threatening emergency. Doctor Lazzari immediately takes charge of the young man and takes him to intensive care.

Sara then waits for his wife to come visit to update her on the situation. Obviously, Roxane would like to go see him but Melanie unfortunately watches her room. Sara then has the idea of making her colleague believe that she needs a hand with her wheelchair. For her part, Roxane takes the opportunity to sneak into her brother’s room.

When he wakes up, she tells him how sorry she is. However, David says he is very happy this way and declares that he will have at least been useful for something. Indeed, the young man did not want his niece to grow up with her mother in prison. With tears in her eyes, Roxane declares that she loves him before promising that her daughter will know what an incredible uncle she had. After placing his hand on her stomach, David begs her to leave before the policewoman returns. Roxane then kisses her brother and leaves with tears in her eyes.

At the end of the day, Bart goes to see Sara and Roxane then informs them that Master Perraud has obtained a suspension of sentence for David and that he has been transferred to Brest, where he was medically monitored in the past. Since he only has a few weeks left to live, Sara promises his wife that they will go see him. Touched, Roxane takes Bart and Sara’s hands and tells them that she loves them.

VICTOR IS RELEASED FROM PRISON

Timothée worries about his father who is still in prison. To change her mind, Elsa offers her to go to the university library but she receives a call from Chloé who needs her to babysit Céleste. Once she accepted, Elsa managed to convince her boyfriend to go with her.
