For his part, Étienne accompanies Dorian to the hospital so that he can visit his friend. As he heads for his wife’s office, Étienne overhears Bruno on the phone having a stormy conversation with his interlocutor. And obviously, Bruno seems to know the identity of his son’s attacker.

Not far from there, Damien arrives at the police station with a huge bag filled with the sand in which Nathan was buried to analyze it. For his part, Georges has just received the young man’s blood tests. Unsurprisingly, the results confirm that he was indeed drugged with acepromazine, a sedative used by veterinarians. At the same time, Étienne arrives at the station and reveals to the police the tenor of Bruno’s discussion that he overheard earlier.

At the same time, Bruno calls out to Victor as he leaves his house and accuses him of having almost killed his son. When the tone rises, Victor slams him violently against a wall then reminds him that he has owed him money for two months. Only, the work has still not started and Bruno owes him 800 euros. The latter accuses Victor of having attacked his son for not having reimbursed him. Faced with this accusation, the businessman retorts that his time is worth more than that and then confirms to the investigators that he was at home with his son at the time of Nathan’s disappearance. Victor is therefore released.

Later, Julie and Bruno go to Nathan’s bedside. If he still does not know who attacked him, Nathan has the memory of an altercation with Rayane in high school that day.

Meanwhile, Karim is back. The opportunity for him to confide in Georges about the problems he encounters with Anna because of Romy. Unfortunately, their discussion is interrupted by a call from Nathan who informs them of his argument with Rayane.

At the end of the day, Lisa therefore waits for Rayane at the end of high school and then questions him about his schedule for Friday evening. The teenager then indicates that he was walking alone on the quays.

Damien managed to analyze the sand where Nathan was buried and the DNA found is none other than Rayane’s…

FRANÇOIS AND ALAIN MAKE UP FOR LOST TIME

Alain makes him understand that it’s not worth it. Charlie then launches that François will not come back and that he risks losing him a second time. While he refuses to listen to him, Charlie does not let himself be disheartened and declares that François simply wants to get to know him and that he will not succeed in advancing in life without it. Once he has taken the photo, Alain looks at it not without emotion.

Eventually, he invites Charlie over for lemonade at his house. After the arrival of François, Alain says that the photo was a kind of trigger because he had dreamed for 27 years of a child with blue eyes who fell off his bicycle. In addition, he also has in mind the image of a park, a gazebo and large magnolias. For his part, François struggles to contain his emotion and even lets out a few tears. And for good reason, it was the park next to their home, where he learned to ride a bike. Aware of having hurt him the day before, Alain then apologizes to him and then specifies that this whole story is dizzying for him.

During the conversation, François tells him that his mother died a few years earlier. Hearing this, Alain asks her forgiveness for having been a coward. When he woke up with amnesia, he could only count on Patrick Faure who advised him not to dig into his past. François then reveals to him that Patrick did not really save his life.

Subsequently, Alain confides in his amnesia. If he was trying to preserve his wife and the life they were building, he felt like an impostor at the same time. In fact, she ended up leaving him. From this marriage two children were born. One now lives in the United States and the other in Canada. Be that as it may, Alain really wants to make up for lost time with François and get to know him. A desire obviously shared by François who tells him how he arrived in Spain.

At the end of the day, Alain accompanies François and Charlie to their car. Before leaving, François gives him the famous air force medal. Determined to look to the future, Alain promises to come and see him in Sète to meet Adam. Once they promise to remember each other, father and son embrace warmly.

On the way back, François is grateful to Charlie for everything she has done for him but above all for having supported him until the end. When he asks how he could thank her, Charlie implies that she really wants him. So they decide to stop at a hotel on the road.
