Friday March 24 in Tomorrow belongs to us…
ALMA IS IN DANGER
At the police station, the investigation into the Argenteuil monster is at a standstill. Indeed, the scientific police did not find any exploitable element at the Delcourt home. The demarcation of the telephones and the track of the stolen boat did not give anything. On the other hand, Georges started digging on the side of the kill gun and contacted specialist suppliers.
For his part, Aaron resumes his duties at the hospital and confides to Victoire how incompetent the investigators were in this case. The opportunity for the young woman to reveal to her that Lisa is her cousin and that this file is important to her. Only, Aaron did not appreciate his methods and even less his double-edged psychology. Victoire then enjoins him not to take it like that before specifying that she had good reasons for acting in this way. Right after, she tells him that Lisa’s parents were victims of the killer. Words that do not please Aaron at all, who regrets that Lisa carries around a trauma that she makes innocent people pay for. Angry, he even summons Victoire to forget her invitation to the Jazz concert.
Meanwhile, Chloe arrives at the police station to bring back the killer’s USB key that she discovered in her garden. Without waiting, Georges analyzes it then notices that the inscription “Le bar des amis” is engraved on the key. A reference to a bar in Lille.
Not far from there, Alma receives a visit from Benoît. After exchanging some pedagogical advice, the two teachers get to know each other better. The opportunity for Benoît to talk about the argument he heard between her and Benjamin. To be honest, Alma says her boyfriend pressured her to have a baby. If she hesitated for a long time to relive sleepless nights, Alma has finally changed her mind and says she is now ready to have a new child. Very happy for her, Benoît then gets his things back and leaves.
The next second, Alma receives a call from Benjamin. When she informs him that she has ordered from an Italian caterer and that he should be there around 8 p.m., someone knocks on the door. After hanging up, she opens the bay window and comes face to face with the killer.
After having tied her up, the latter draws the curtains of the living room. When he puts tape over his mouth to gag her, Alma pushes him with all her might and takes advantage that he is on the ground to grab a knife and then lock herself in her room. Unfortunately, the murderer is stronger and manages to break into the room.
At nightfall, Alma is tied to an armchair. While she begs the killer to let her go, he grabs his phone and sends a message to Benjamin asking him to come home as soon as possible. At the same time, the delivery man knocks on the door. Alma tries to shout for help but he listens to music in his helmet and hears nothing. He then places the delivery bag in front of the door before leaving.
A few minutes later, Benjamin comes home and discovers his companion lying on the sofa. Unfortunately, he has no time to do anything since the killer appears and hits him from behind…
SÉBASTIEN GIVES MARIANNE A GIFT
Raphaëlle and Sébastien have breakfast at the Spoon but the prosecutor is very focused on sending a message to Marianne, which has not escaped his daughter who questions him about it. Sébastien therefore tells him that he likes the delicious humor of Doctor Delcourt before specifying that it is a question of a friendship with a slight attraction. Raphaëlle then reminds her that she is a married woman and the mother of her best friend.
Subsequently, Raphaëlle goes to high school. Once she has heard from Chloé, the lawyer tells her that her father is seriously thinking of messing around with Marianne. Hopefully, however, she hopes that this love will remain impossible and platonic.
In the afternoon, Chloé takes advantage of going to see Céleste at the hospital to ask her mother about her relationship with Renaud. If she recognizes that it is no longer the passion of the beginnings, Marianne ensures however that Sébastien does not please her.
For his part, Renaud gives himself over to Alex. Indeed, the doctor fears that his wife will throw him away like a kleenex and that his successor, Sébastien Perraud, is already in ambush. As he keeps hovering around her, Renaud seriously considers punching her in the face. For Alex, he should rather take out the big game for Marianne by organizing a small candlelit dinner.
At the end of the day, Marianne is about to go home when she discovers a present on her desk. This is a silk scarf. First imagining that it is a gift from her husband, she quickly loses her smile when she realizes that it comes from Sébastien. In addition, the latter accompanied his present with a note on which he wrote that he was thinking of her.
ÉTIENNE AND BÉNÉDICTE RECONCILIATE
Étienne joins Sylvain and Alex at the marina to inspect the Moreno’s sailboat. Unfortunately, the CPE of Agnès Varda does not have good news. Not only is the boat rusty inside but the sails are in very bad condition. If the Morenos hoped to leave this summer, the boat is not about to put to sea. They will have to wait until 2025 or even 2026 before having made all the necessary repairs.
Shortly after, Étienne called the owner of the wreck and succeeded in having the sale cancelled. Impressed but above all relieved, Sylvain thanks him then invites him and Alex for a drink to celebrate. At the Spoon, Étienne offers Sylvain to teach him how to navigate his boat. So, if he likes it, he can buy a sailboat to travel to the West Indies. An offer that Sylvain gladly accepts. The three men then go on Étienne’s boat for Sylvain’s first lesson. And as much to say that he is not very talented…
Anyway, Étienne had a great time with them. When he explains to his wife that he canceled a sale thanks to a gamble, Bénédicte cannot help but comment on his past as a burglar. For Étienne, unfortunately, they cannot go back. For her part, Bénédicte retorts that she doesn’t care about what he did but specifies that she regrets that he never spoke to her about it. Eventually, she feels like he didn’t trust her. Étienne, who understands that his wife feels betrayed, adds that he was ashamed of his past. Asking her forgiveness, he promises that everything will eventually go back to how it was. To seal their reconciliation, they kiss.
