Tuesday March 28 in Tomorrow belongs to us…

BENOIT IS QUESTIONED BY THE POLICE

Lisa suspects Benoît of being the Argenteuil monster. Between the shaving soap, the fact that he lived in Argenteuil at the time of the first murders and that he was in Sète right when the murders resumed, there are a lot of coincidences. Since she deduces that Benoît murdered his own parents, Commander Constant specifies that it would not be the first time that a sociopathic teenager would do this. Beyond that, Lisa especially realizes that Benedict mocked her for years and comforted her when he murdered her parents. Martin nevertheless reminds him that they are not sure of anything.

Shortly after, Martin reread Benjamin’s statement and the description of the killer could well match that of Benoît. Lisa remembered a detail. The man who killed Alma remained silent and that’s what Chloé Delcourt said too. The killer therefore knew the Delcourts, Benjamin Ventura and probably Alma Guérin. However, Lisa remarks on the contrary that the Chassagne and Thiemen-Raynaud couples have no connection with the SVT professor.

For his part, Georges has something new about the USB key. If they know that the object was distributed in a bar in Lille at the end of 2020, the police officer also discovered that Benoît lived in Roubaix, 15 kilometers away, at this time. And that’s not all since Georges was able to obtain the suspect’s medical file. The latter had leukemia and received a bone marrow transplant in 2019, right when the Argenteuil monster was taking a break from his crimes before starting again in Sète. Even if Benoît is certainly the murderer who has been raging in Sète for a few weeks, Commander Constant wants to take a DNA sample to be sure.

Afterwards, Lisa goes to high school and asks Amel to keep her distance from Benoît. Faced with his questions, Lisa implies that the police suspect him of being the killer. That’s why she summons her little sister not to approach him and to be careful.

Meanwhile, Audrey visits Benjamin at his hotel to bring him food. As he still hasn’t informed Hadrien of his mother’s death, Audrey offers to do so instead, but he refuses. Believing that it is up to him to do so, Benjamin takes his courage in both hands and calls the young man.

At the police station, Georges obtained the demarcation of Benoît’s telephone. Unsurprisingly, the device stopped at his home at the time of the Chassagnes’ murder and the Delcourts’ attack. Only, Lisa retorts that he could very well have left his laptop at home to build an alibi. While the policewoman is certain that it is the killer, Martin retorts that they have already wrongly accused two suspects because they had the profile of the ideal culprit.

Shortly after, Commander Constant arrives at the school and takes Benoît to the station to question him. During his interrogation, he confirms several suspicions of the police. He does have a scar from his leukemia, he also uses the same shaving soap as the killer and has already been to the friends’ bar in Lille. Understanding that he is suspected, Benoît defends himself by indicating that the first victims are his parents.

Concerning the bite marks on his arms, Benoît simply states that he takes blood samples regularly to monitor his leukemia. Martin then asks to see his right flank but Benoît has no trace of Roxane’s batting. The latter then assures that they are on the wrong track and that he has nothing to do with these murders. However, Benoît adds that these coincidences may not be a coincidence. Indeed, the professor thinks that the killer has been tracking him since the murder of his parents and has fun never being far from him.

In the aftermath, Georges announces that he has obtained Benoît’s DNA results: the blood does not correspond to that found at the crime scenes.

CHARLIE WANTS TO PROVE THAT SHE IS STILL A GIRL WITHOUT LIMIT

In the early morning, Charlie receives a message from Jules which makes her laugh a lot. As François thinks that she is talking with Nathan, Charlie replies that her ex-boyfriend is passing through Sète and that she is delighted to see him again. Inevitably, the French teacher is not fooled and makes him understand that it is not worth playing this little game with him. Indeed, François is not the jealous type and trusts him completely.

Charlie then goes to the Spoon where she joins Jules. After complimenting him on his appearance, Jules declares that she will always remain the girl who meant the most in his life. Soizic, who is seated at the next table, interrupts their conversation to greet her rival. In turn, Charlie introduces her to Jules as her ex-boyfriend. The opportunity for Doctor Vernet to tell them that they go very well together and that they are accomplices. When Charlie says that’s in the past, Soizic retorts that it doesn’t take much to rekindle the flame before leaving them alone.

Later, Soizic goes to François to retrieve a drill. Once again, she tackles Charlie on his age then launches that she crossed paths with her ex-boyfriend. Knowing full well that she’s been trying to mess up her marriage from the start, François, who thinks he’s been quite nice, urges her to stop her little game.

For his part, Jules confides in Gabriel that he wants to get back together with Charlie. This is also the reason why he returned to Sète. According to Gabriel, she is very much in love with François but Jules does not really believe in their story. When Charlie joins them and refuses to drink the beer he offers her, Jules accuses her of having become stuck since she started a relationship with an older man. To prove him wrong, Charlie finally drinks a beer with them.

Going shortly after to the Spoon, Charlie tells Nathan that she is going to organize a big party at Sylvain and Christelle’s. In reality, it’s only to prove to Jules that she’s still a limitless girl.

MARIANNE MAKES THINGS CLEAR WITH SÉBASTIEN

Marianne is angry with her husband because she didn’t really appreciate Renaud marking his territory in front of Sébastien. A little game that she found particularly pathetic. While Renaud admits having exaggerated a little, Marianne specifies that Sébastien did not fall into the trap and that he even showed himself worthy. As she defends him, Renaud finally wonders if he has good reason to be jealous.

Marianne then finds her daughter in the hospital and tells her about the disastrous evening of the previous day. When Chloe asks if she has feelings for the prosecutor, Marianne claims that they are just friends.

On the advice of her daughter, Marianne goes to see Sébastien at his office. Once she has apologized to him for her husband’s attitude, Marianne makes him understand that she does not want any ambiguity between them. This is why she gives him back the scarf he gave her while reminding him that she is married.

Later, Sébastien receives a visit from his granddaughter. Seeing Marianne’s scarf on her desk, Camille can’t help but try it on. If Sébastien wants to give her a gift, Camille replies that it’s not really his style. She therefore offers to put it on sale on an application, which he accepts. But Camille noticed that her grandfather was weird. To cover his tracks, he makes her believe that he is on a big file that is taking his mind.

Not far from there, Christelle apologizes to Marianne for having blundered on the scarf. Although she doesn’t blame him, Marianne advises him to remain discreet the next time.
