Thursday June 29 in Tomorrow belongs to us…
MARTIN IS WELL AND WELL ALIVE!
In the early morning, Raphaëlle arrives at the Saint-Clair hospital where she finds William and Nordine. Breathless with emotion, she tries to find out what happened. Reluctantly, the young policeman tells him about his father’s last hours. The day before, Martin called the Samu because he was suffering from severe chest pain. Doctors came as fast as they could but unfortunately her heart stopped before she reached the hospital. On the spot, they tried to resuscitate him but without success.
As Martin was doing well and was even making progress, Raphaëlle struggles to understand what could have caused this. Doctor Daunier then explains to him that a person victim of a pulmonary blast can decompensate a few days later. In other words, Martin’s heart weakened without warning signs. While she blames herself for having forced him to go for a walk the day before, Nordine assures us that it is no one’s fault and especially not hers. Deeply moved, Nordine and Raphaëlle then hug each other and let out a few tears.
At the police station, Commander Lambesc brings together her teams to pay tribute to Martin. After portraying him as an exceptional cop and a true brother in arms, she asks her colleagues to observe a minute of silence. In this solemn moment, Karim, Georges, Sara, Roxane, Damien and Aurore struggle to hide their emotions.
Later, Karim confides in Georges how much he feels guilty for not having succeeded in preventing him from entering this shed. No matter what Georges tells him, Karim believes that all of this is entirely his fault. Georges then makes him understand that he will always be there for him because they form a family. Once he thanks him, Karim bursts into tears.
For her part, Raphaëlle goes to see Chloé. Deeply upset by Martin’s death, she bitterly regrets that they lost four months turning around.
Not far from there, Manon is worried about Nordine who is lying on the sofa contemplating the ceiling. In order to change his mind, she offers him a short walk on the beach but the young man declines, preferring to be alone. Understanding, Manon says she is still there for him if he ever feels the need to talk.
At the police station, Damien received Martin’s autopsy report. According to the medical examiner, he was poisoned. Indeed, the doctors found traces of berries in his blood, which would have caused the heart attack. Since Martin was at home at the time of his heart attack, the police deduce that the poison is surely still there. Commander Constant’s house therefore becomes a crime scene. Without waiting, Agathe informs her teams that the PTS will pass the next morning. For Georges, it’s far too long, but Agathe doesn’t really give him a choice. Aurore then intervenes and sides with her superior.
Agathe then waits for the end of the day to break into Martin’s house. As she begins to clean the table to erase her tracks, Martin appears behind her and puts his gun on her neck…
VICTOR TAKES THE BIG GAME
Victor has organized a little surprise for Romy. So he uses a professional meeting as a pretext for her to agree to spend the day with him. After borrowing a classic car, the businessman picks it up at lunchtime and takes it to the beach for a picnic.
As she is angry with him for having lied to her, she makes him promise never to do such a thing to her again before going to dip his feet in the water. Over lunch, Victor and Romy confide in their respective love lives. After having chained the conquests, Timothée’s father specifies that he is now looking to build a real relationship. For her part, Romy rather wants lightness and above all no commitment. It must be said that Rayane’s mother is struggling to recover from her relationship with Malik.
CHARLIE AND SOIZIC TAKE A CHALLENGE
The hut cook is sick. Having no one to replace him, Alain offers Charlie to help him. In fact, François’ father used to cook a paella for every hundred people every year. The whole family decides to get their hands dirty.
Tasting his father’s paella, François realizes that Alain is a real Spaniard. If the latter recognizes that part of his life is there, he nevertheless assures that the other is still in Sète. It is for this reason that it is important for him to create new memories here.
Later, the paella met with great success. Soizic, who came to lunch at the straw hut, can’t help but tease Charlie. Quickly, the two women embark on a spicy confrontation as they order a plate of paella with a double dose of chilli. With his travels to the four corners of the world, Soizic obviously has no difficulty, which is not really the case for Charlie who is struggling to recover.
At the end of the day, Alain and François look at the photos of the day taken by Adam. Seeing a picture of him and his son, Alain asks his grandson to print it for him.
