Myriam Becker, Nordine’s mother, will arrive this evening in “Tomorrow belongs to us” in order to go to her son’s bedside. The opportunity to look into the career of Selma Kouchy, her interpreter, who notably played in “Commissaire Magellan”.
Already mentioned several times in the series, a character very dear to the heart of Nordine (Youcef Agal) will finally make his first appearance tonight in Tomorrow belongs to us.
At the very end of yesterday’s episode, viewers witnessed a real drama as Nordine was hit head-on by a car during an intervention in the port of Sète. Unconscious, the boyfriend of Manon (Louvia Bachelier), who suffers from severe head trauma, will find himself between life and death in the hospital.
And it is therefore no surprise that Myriam Becker (Selma Kouchy), warned of the critical condition in which her son is, will disembark without waiting in Sète to go to the bedside of Nordine. The opportunity for her to officially meet Manon. But also to find Martin (Franck Monsigny), her ex, with whom relations promise to be strained to say the least.
The arrival of this new character, who should remain for some time in Tomorrow belongs to us, will thus allow fans to learn a little more about Nordine’s family and Martin’s past. And if the name of Selma Kouchy, the interpreter of Myriam, may mean nothing to you, her face is certainly familiar to you since the actress, who is not at her first attempt, is a regular at the small screen.

With theatrical training, Selma Kouchy performed in numerous plays between 1998 and 2013, including Jacques and his masterdirected by Nicolas Briançon, and Left when exiting the elevatordirected by Arthur Jugnot.
At the same time, she made her screen debut in 2000 in Marie-Line, with Muriel Robin, and then appeared in several films such as Il Rest du Jamon? and Télé gaucho. But it is especially on the small screen that it has been illustrated for the past twenty years.
She thus participates in episodes of Commissaire Moulin, Femmes de droit, Boulevard du palais, Second chance, Camping Paradis, Disappearing worrying or Munch. It is on France 3, moreover, that she finds the most significant and consistent role of her career since, from 2013 to 2021, she lends her features to Lieutenant Selma Berraya in about twenty episodes of Commissioner Magellan opposite to Jacques Spiesser.
More recently, Selma Kouchy distinguished herself in L’Amour (almost) parfait on France 2, as well as in the police television films of France 3 Meurtres à Nancy, with Fabrice Deville, and De miel et de sang, led by the duo Léa François – Nicolas Gob.
And it is therefore now on TF1, in Tomorrow belongs to us, that fans of French fiction will be able to find her every evening in the role of Myriam Becker, Nordine’s mother.
A role that allows him to give the reply to Franck Monsigny, Louvia Bachelier and of course Youcef Agal. And the latter seems delighted with his collaboration with his new playing partner: “I have forged a very beautiful relationship with Selma Kouchy, who embodies my fictional mother and who is adorable”he told us during an interview about the future of Nordine. “We had some very nice sequences together, whether in the hospital or a little later”.
