Tomorrow belongs to us: who killed Mr. Flamand? Sara shares her theory

This week in Tomorrow Belongs to Us, Sara and Martin are divided on the follow-up to be given to the ongoing investigation into the murder of Mr. Flamand.

Warning, this article contains spoilers about the sequel to Tomorrow Belongs to Us.

Sara has an intuition. This is what we discover in the unpublished extract from the episode of Tomorrow belongs to us from this Wednesday, December 13revealed in advance by TF1.

The investigation into the murder of Mr. Flamand has stalled

In this scene, we find Sara (Camille Genau) and Martin (Franck Monsigny) at the Sète police station. The police commander explains to him that the prosecutor is putting pressure on him so that they can catch John Kovac (Jean-Michel Péril), still suspected of murder.

However, on Sara’s side, the investigation into the death of Mr. Flamand is stalling: the feedback obtained thanks to the call for witnesses only led to false leads, the video surveillance images cannot be used because the cameras are partly broken, and no potential motive has been found among any of the victim’s relatives.

Sara opposes Martin

Martin believes that Bastien’s father (Nicolas Jacquens) therefore remains their main suspect and that we must therefore prioritize the search for proof of his guilt and no longer his innocence.

But Sara is not of this opinion: she recalls that Mr. Flamand’s autopsy report indicates the presence of a hematoma on his shoulder which dates from several days before his death, a hematoma which could come from an altercation . However, the prison service assured Sara that during his last stint in prison in the early 2000s for vehicle trafficking and theft, John Kovac was a model inmate who never showed violence.

In addition, the police brigadier emphasizes that Bastien’s father never tried to deny the facts with which he was accused in the first case in which he was involved. However, John Kovac here denies any aggression from Mr. Flamand.

Unconvinced, Martin nevertheless accepts that Sara will continue searching as long as the priority is to arrest John Kovac.

So, is Sara’s intuition correct? Is Bastien’s father indeed the murderer of Mr. Flamand? Answer in Tomorrow belongs to us, Monday to Friday at 7:10 p.m. on TF1!
