Will Vanessa soon return to sow terror in Tomorrow belongs to us? We asked the question to Victoire Dauxerre, who said last night on TF1 her farewell to her serial killer character for the second time.
After twisting last year and killing several people, including Louise, Vanessa Lehman reappeared a few weeks ago in Tomorrow belongs to us, as part of her trial. The opportunity for the murderess to put her plan into action and escape to find Georges (Mayel Elhajaoui), her great love.
The reunion, however, did not go as planned by Vanessa, since Georges tried to trap his ex-girlfriend who had no choice but to shoot him to get out of it. And while she ended up fleeing to Perpignan at the end of the episode broadcast this Friday on TF1, viewers will learn on Monday that Vanessa was spotted in Buenos Aires by Interpol.

Does this mean that the writers are done with this killer character for good? Or will Vanessa return soon for a third act, like Marc Véry (Guillaume Faure) before her, or even Sacha (Renaud Roussel), who reappeared last year for a few episodes after his shock plot of 2021?
“I’m not a screenwriter, so I don’t know if Vanessa will come back”replied Victoire Dauxerre when asked about the possibility of a return soon in Tomorrow belongs to us, for a new face to face with Georges. “But last year I didn’t die and I was able to come back. So I guess as long as you don’t die it’s possible”.
And when it is suggested to her that Vanessa could reappear in Sète and kidnap Georges to force him to marry her, Victoire Dauxerre seems rather enthusiastic about the idea. “I adore !”she replies, bursting out laughing. “Vanessa would definitely like to marry Georges. It would be funny”.
“Listen, you can suggest that to the writers, so I can come back later for a wedding arch. And maybe another serial killer would come and knock Vanessa out. Everything is possible in Tomorrow belongs to us”.
In the meantime, the actress, seen in Vikings and Versailles, will focus on her next projects, namely the filming of two comedies this summer. The first, filmed this month abroad and intended for a streaming platform. And the other for the cinema.
Two feature films that will not be released before 2024. So, by then, will Vanessa be back in Tomorrow belongs to us? The future will tell.
