Toni Kroos (31) tested positive for the corona virus on May 17th. This has been announced by his club, Real Madrid. The German national soccer player has been in self-isolation since May 14th after coming into contact with another infected person.

How Kroos is currently doing and how long he may be out is not known. The professional player may not only be missing from his club. The illness could also affect the preparations of the national team for the upcoming European championship. The DFB team will attend a training camp in Tyrol from May 28th.
