Categorically refusing to go to confession, as his wife had asked him before dying, or to listen to the suggestions of his sons, Walt also takes a very dim view of the arrival of Asian immigrants in his neighborhood. . Things get worse the day Thao, a young boy from the neighboring family, tries to steal his precious car under pressure from a gang.
Forced by his big sister to come work for Walt in order to repair his mistake, young Thao gradually becomes friends with the old man.
