Tonight on TV: Alban Ivanov is furious in this comedy with Ahmed Sylla

Every day, AlloCiné recommends a film to (re)watch on TV. Tonight: a buddy movie worn by Alban Ivanov and Ahmed Sylla.

Best known for his work on television (Household Scenes) and several short films, Varante Soudjian embarked on the adventure of feature films in 2019 with no less than two films released six months apart.

The first, Walter mixes comedy and action to tell the robbery of a jewelry store by a team of amateurs who find themselves face to face with an ex-African warlord vigilante. The second, titled Inseparable, this time mixes detective film, friend film and romantic comedy.

In this French-style buddy movie, former petty crook Mika, who has been in prison but now has a dream life, sees Putin, a former prisoner, a real crazy brute fond of heavy artillery, arrive and will have a good time. hard to get rid of. Both are played by Ahmed Sylla and Alban Ivanov respectively.

These two comedians with similar backgrounds – beginnings on stage and on television before entering the cinema – form an endearing tandem. Their strong point is undoubtedly their sincere complicity, tied a few years earlier on the stage of the Jamel Comedy Club. A complicity that also extends between the actors and the director, who had already directed Alban Ivanov in Walter and Ahmed Sylla in the Access series.

When it was released in 2019, Inséparables attracted more than a million spectators.
