Tonight on TV: Franck Dubosc doesn’t like this film, and you?

Every day, AlloCiné recommends a film to (re)watch on TV. Tonight: Franck Dubosc and Fabien Onteniente go from Camping to Club.

After the three parts of Camping and Disco, Fabien Onteniente finds his favorite actor, Franck Dubosc, for a fifth collaboration. Together, they co-wrote the comedy All Inclusive, whose action takes place in a vacation club in Guadeloupe.

Planted by his fiancée at the airport, Bruno goes there alone and is forced to share his room with Jean-Paul Cisse, eternally single, very intrusive… Meeting Lulu, retired and very open widow, Caroline, Manon and Sonia, three friends who came to bury the divorce of the first and Edouard Laurent, the director of the Caribbean Princess Club, the two vacationers are not ready to forget their stay under the sun of the coconut palms!

At the top of the bill, Franck Dubosc gives the reply to François-Xavier Demaison, but also to Josiane Balasko and Thierry Lhermitte – a little nod to the cult film Les Bronzés, another comedy taking place in a holiday club.

However, upon its release in 2019, All Inclusive does not achieve the expected success. With 5.8 million euros in revenue, the film fails to cover its production costs of around 15 million euros. It is one of the rare comedies carried by the comedian not to have reached one million admissions with Le Marquis, Les Têtes de l’emploi or Boule & Bill 2. A public and commercial failure confirmed by its average of AlloCiné viewer ratings, i.e. 1.1/5.

In an interview with TV Star in June 2021, Franck Dubosc himself expressed his regrets about the film, saying: “As far as All Inclusive is concerned, we didn’t work on it enough, we made an average copy. Fabien Onteniente agrees with me. This experience has vaccinated us and will prevent us from doing anything again.”

All Inclusive by Fabien Onteniente with Franck Dubosc, François-Xavier Demaison, Josiane Balasko…

Tonight on TF1 at 9:10 p.m.
