Three years after the Palme d’Or received for Me, Daniel Blake in 2016, Ken Loach is back with Sorry We Missed You, a drama in which he explores the changes in the world of work. In line with his previous film, the English filmmaker looks at social reality, denouncing its growing dehumanization.

His gaze, terribly authentic, without misery, is embodied on screen by Kris Hitchen, a former plumber, who is taking his first steps in the cinema here.
