Tonight on TV: they are worse than Ducobu and the SEGPA combined… Except that they are teachers!

Every day, AlloCiné recommends a film to (re)watch on TV. Tonight: Melha Bedia and Audrey Fleurot in a high-energy school comedy.

What if we had a good mood this evening in front of our television set? To do this, tune in to TF1, which broadcasts the crazy comedy La Très Très Grande Classe, led by Melha Bedia and Audrey Fleurot.

Theatrical release in 2022, Very very high class tells the story of Sofia, a young French teacher martyred by her students. Believing that she has finally achieved the transformation of her dreams, she launches into explosive farewells and savors her revenge.

Problem: her transfer is frozen, she is now in competition with a teacher with an impeccable CV and her students, more angry than ever, are determined to make her pay for her words. Lies at the academy, low blows to her competitor, seduction campaign… Sofia is ready to do anything to get her exit certificate!

With its lovely cast and comical slaughter of Melha Bedia, Very very high class has everything you need to have a hell of an entertaining evening. But if it is very (very) funny, with a delightful cartoonish side, this feature film also has substance.

Director Frédéric Quiring, a big fan of all the “teen movies” that take place in schools such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off by John Hughes, the Sex Education series or even Grease, declares:

“Comedy being a powerful vector for dealing with social issues, it seemed to me that the setting of Very very high class was conducive to talking about teaching and illiteracy.”

Melha Bedia recalls her former teachers!

Frédéric Quiring defines Very very high class as a comedy about reconciliation: that of a teacher with her vocation, but also that of students with education.

“This film is therefore closer to my previous films. Dirty kids Or My reum already mentioned transmission and intergenerational encounters, two subjects that are dear to me”notes the filmmaker.

Pleasant anecdote: to prepare for his role, Melha Bedia called back all his former teachers to question them! “Afterwards, I was able to draw inspiration from my little personal experience since I sometimes gave French and English lessons to the children of my friends”declares the young actress. “But my problem is that in real life, I have no patience for teaching…”

Do you really want to laugh? If so, you know what you have to do!

Tonight on TF1 at 9:10 p.m.
