Are you a fan of the Terminator films? So go to 6ter this evening to enjoy the fifth opus of the cult SF saga led by Arnold Schwarzenegger (while waiting for a seventh film?)!

Released in theaters in 2015, Terminator Genisys sees resistance leader John Connor send Sergeant Kyle Reese into the past to protect his mother, Sarah Connor, and preserve the future of humanity. Unexpected events then cause a temporal fracture.

Sarah and Kyle find themselves in a new version of the past and discover an unexpected ally: the Guardian. Together, they must face a new enemy. The threat has changed.

This is the first time in twelve years that Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his iconic role as Terminator since Terminator 3. He was in fact replaced by a digital version in Terminator Renaissance. This duration coincides with that between Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and The Rising of the Machines (2003).

Emilia Clarke, famous thanks to the series Game Of Thrones, brings to life here the emblematic character of Sarah Connor. The young British actress indicated that for her role, she was inspired by Daenerys rather than previous film versions of the SF saga.

Due to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s age (67 years old at the time), it was decided that instead of the special effects supposed to make him thirty years younger, his aging would be integrated into the storyline. In fact, the skin tissue covering his robot body ages like any human.

Want to find one of the most emblematic characters of SF, snuggled up on your sofa?

Tonight on 6ter at 9:05 p.m.
