(Boursier.com) — Thunder Drones now owns 91% of the capital of Aero41, which is a Swiss developer and seller of agricultural protection drones that can effectively spray crops even when located in complex and difficult to access terrain. Over the years, Aero41 has built a strong customer base, but has recently encountered financial difficulties.

Consequently, on February 19, an EGM was organized. During this, Tonner Drones proposed to the Board of Directors of Aero41 to carry out a capital increase by offsetting its debt of 400,000 CHF (424,461.60 euros) to become the controlling shareholder of Aero41 with 91% of shares.

The Extraordinary General Meeting also decided to change the Board of Directors as follows: Jean-François Ott (President); Bradley Taylor (Administrator); Frédéric Hemmeler (Administrator).

This step comes as part of the implementation of Tonner Drones’ strategy aimed at becoming a consolidator of the drone industry and drone-related technologies. Tonner Drones “welcomes this opportunity to work closely with Aero41’s current customers, continue the development of Aero41’s products and technology, but also expand Aero41’s operations through Tonner’s international relationships and resources Drones.”
