Tony Marshall has been released from the hospital. Without a double vaccination, he would “probably not have survived” a corona infection.

Tony Marshall (83) had to go to a clinic because of a corona disease, but the pop star has now left. He is now back with his wife Gaby (83), reports the “Bild” newspaper.

“I feel fit and can even sing again,” explains Marshall in an interview with the daily newspaper. His luck was “that I was vaccinated twice against Corona. Otherwise I would probably not have survived the whole thing.” In mid-October, his long-time manager Herbert Nold the “Bild am Sonntag” confirmedthat the singer was infected.

He “sent death away again”

So to this day it is not clear where Marshall could have been infected. He was not afraid of death: “He’s already a good friend, as often as he knocked on my door. But this time I sent him away again.” In the summer of two years ago, the singer made public that he had had several hospital stays since the beginning of 2019.

Tony Marshall is a veteran of the German entertainment industry. According to information on his homepage, he has so far participated in around 8,000 events and published 120 singles during his long career. His biggest hit is probably the hit song “Schöne Maid”.
