As is well known, the question of the best cell phone operating system is hotly debated, especially among younger people, but it is also said to have led to serious family disputes. Nevertheless, what is said to have happened in Washington, according to the local station ABC7, is very strange.
An Uber driver was coming home from his late shift when he was confronted and robbed by two armed and masked men. The men stole numerous valuables and also stole the couple’s pickup truck.
Before that, however, there was a remarkable exchange of words between the criminals and the injured party. “They just looked at the smartphone and said, ‘Oh, that’s an Android. We don’t want that. We thought you had an iPhone,'” says the Uber driver’s wife.
No one was injured in the robbery. Nevertheless, those involved suffered a shock. It is also questionable what the criminals want to do with the iPhone. Without an associated password, it will be difficult to unlock or resell the smartphone.
