What the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Edition 55 doesn’t offer is a muffler in the Inconel exhaust system (Inconel is a super alloy that mainly contains nickel but also some other metals such as chromium, magnesium, iron and titanium). The racing car cannot be homologated with this, so they let the 6.3-liter V8 engine fully off the leash: With 650 hp, it delivers around 100 hp more than in the FIA version.
