An attack of which there is not much left visually, if one compares the man who is now testifying in court as a victim and the one who is seriously injured and leaning on the subway door with a completely demolished face in photos. “I’m fine physically,” the man says calmly. He can no longer remember the “attack” – as he calls it. Only the trauma would have remained: “I take the subway almost every day. The journey takes 35 seconds. That happened in those seconds. When there are a lot of people on the subway, I feel a deep sense of uneasiness.”
