Toosla: fleet plan for 2024 is secure

(CercleFinance.com) – Toosla announced Tuesday evening that it had secured its fleet plan for 2024, a roadmap which should give pride of place to six powerful brands, namely Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Mini, Peugeot and Tesla.

The short-term car rental specialist specifies that the models selected will allow it to optimize the average income per vehicle throughout the year.

By focusing on the brands and models most desired by customers, Toosla says it is giving itself the means to achieve its turnover target of 12 million euros for 2024, compared to less than eight million in 2022.

The company is also aiming for an improvement in its profitability this year, with an adjusted Ebitda forecast of more than 12% in 2024 compared to 7% in 2022.

Beyond adjusting its fleet, the company also plans to overhaul its website and offer greater vehicle accessibility with the extension of the delivery and collection service to Orly and Roissy airports. -CDG.

In its press release, Toosla adds that the proportion of clean vehicles within its fleet should rise to around 40% during the year, compared to 30% currently.

The company explains that it wants to offer a selection of clean vehicles (hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electric) in order to gradually support consumers’ transition to these engines, but ‘without rushing them’.

Following these announcements, Toosla shares lost more than 5% on Wednesday on the Paris Stock Exchange, after having gained almost 15% during the morning. The stock has fallen 74% over the past 12 months.
