TOOSLA: Toosla continues to develop its fleet with the first Peugeot brand vehicles – 05/30/2022 at 18:00


May 30, 2022 – Toosla, a digital player in short-term car rental, announces a continued expansion of its range of vehicles with the arrival of the first Peugeot 208 and 2008.

A diversified offer meeting all mobility needs

After a first partnership with Jeep announced on May 19, 2022, Toosla is joining forces with Peugeot, another emblematic brand of the Stellantis Group, as part of a commercial partnership aimed at the delivery of Peugeot 208 and Peugeot 2008. With these new models, Toosla continues to diversify its offer, in particular by strengthening its positioning on city models and compact SUVs. The Company thus clearly confirms its desire to meet all the mobility needs of its customers thanks to the depth of its vehicle fleet.

These new models are already offered on the Toosla application for reservations from the end of June 2022, and will, like all the other models available, be highly equipped (automatic gearbox, sunroof, GPS, etc.).

A strengthened fleet to support growth

In total, the partnership provides for the delivery of 250 cars in 2022 to reinforce Toosla’s current fleet, of which nearly two thirds will arrive before the summer. Furthermore, it demonstrates the relationships of trust forged by the Company with its manufacturer partners, in a context where vehicle deliveries, in particular to rental companies, are restricted, given the pressures weighing on automobile production.

This significant reinforcement gives Toosla the means to take advantage of the upcoming summer season and the significant growth in car rental in France and Europe. As a reminder, the market should reach nearly 20 billion euros at European level by 2026. The Company is thus perfectly in line with the development plan announced at the time of its IPO.
