England: Arsenal wins London derby

Arsenal won a spectacular city duel with Chelsea. The Gunners, with Granit Xhaka in the starting XI, won 4-2 at Stamford Bridge. After the first half ended 2-2, Eddie Nketiah (57′) and Bukayo Saka (90’+2) made the difference for Arsenal in the second half. Manchester City showed no weaknesses at home, beating Brighton 3-0 and overtaking Liverpool in the table. Fabian Schär recorded a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace with Newcastle United.

Spain: Real marches on

Real Madrid are rushing towards their 35th Spanish league title. The “Royal” celebrated a 3-1 victory in Osasuna. Curious: Karim Benzema missed 2 penalties (52./59). The cushion at the top of the table is 18 points over Barça (2 games down).

Italy: Juve in the Coppa final
