Various PC games are currently available for free again in the Epic Games Store and on Steam. There is something for pretty much every gaming taste. The two titles in the Epic Games Store will be permanently added to your game library if you click the “Get” button by August 30, 2022, 7 p.m. and September 1, 2022, 7 p.m. respectively.

Ring of Pain is available free of charge until September 1st, 2022, 7 p.m. and has a value of 19.99 euros. The game is a rogue-like map crawler. “Each step could be your last. Do you take the treasure or do you provide security? Strange companions bring you valuables, but not without catches. Discover the secrets in Ring of Pain!”, says the game description. Features include 16 core dungeons plus two different ending paths. If you want to take on a higher challenge, you can unlock “Hard Mode”.

Epic Games Store: Destine 2 Bundle – 30 Years of Bungie
The second piece of free content on the Epic Games Store this week is the Destiny 2 Bungie 30 Year Pack add-on, valued at $24.99. It is available free of charge until August 30, 2022, 7 p.m. The add-on adds a completely new dungeon to Destiny 2 (get the free basic version of the game here). There is also the exotic rocket launcher “Gjallarhorn”, a spike armor set and other weapons, equipment and cosmetic items. The Bungiue game developers are celebrating their 30th birthday with the package.

Age of Empires 4 is free to play on Steam this weekend
Steam: Age of Empires IV free this weekend
There’s a treat for RTS fans this weekend on Steam. The cracker “Age of Empires IV” can be downloaded and played for free until August 29, 2022, 7 p.m. If you like the game, you can add it to your Steam library for 24.99 euros instead of 49.99 euros. Last but not least, check out Gog.com. A big sale is currently taking place there until September 5th. As part of this campaign, the platform is giving away the 2D action role-playing game Dex from 2015. As usual with GOG, you get the game completely without copy protection.
